Matt is Head of SME Solutions for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. As Head of SME, he is responsible for the APAC SME strategy including delivering the SME product roadmap, growth initiatives and supporting in-country Business Solutions teams.
Prior to his appointment, Matt was Head of Commercial Solutions for South East Asia at Mastercard, where he led Mastercard’s growth strategy into the region. His remit saw him working with issuers in driving both SME and Large Market solutions.
Matt spent 10 years at ANZ Banking Group in Australia, where he held multiple roles in payments & receivables functions. Most notably, he was Head of SME Commercial Cards where he was responsible for leading product, portfolio and channel sales teams to drive increased acquisition and develop new products for launch. He also held sales leadership roles in Small Business Banking, Transaction Banking & Merchant Acquiring.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Economics from University of Nottingham, UK.
