Jason Tsao is the Area Transformation Lead, in addition to his role as GCR AI lead. The focus of ATL in FY19 is to ensure we further land and find tune the culture and sales transformation, especially in Learn and Coach in GCR. AI is a key initiative WW but it is critical in GCR as the market is not only dynamics but also hyper competitive with many world class competitors in Alibaba and Baidu. Our main strategy in AI in FY19 is to leverage the presence of AI+R organization to land innovative deals in industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, and FSI.
Prior to ATL role, Jason was the M&O lead in Taiwan since FY18 and Chief of Staff of GCR CVP since FY17. During his tenure as M&O lead in Taiwan, he worked closely with GM to continue sales transformation to bring Taiwan back to growth and to establish MSFT as the leader in the market for both AI and Digital Transformation. In his capacity as GCR Chief of Staff, Jason worked closely with GCR CVP and LT to land Mercury and further enhanced collaboration across three subsidiaries and between GSMO and AI+R.
Jason joined MSFT as a License Executive in Beijing responsible to establish business process for cloud in China with 21Vianet in 2013 and successfully launched China cloud agreement, government agreement, and indirect partner motion during the first year. He later signed the most IoT incubation deals and wrote the first value sharing agreement during his time in WWLP incubation team.
