Mr Bien Perez serves as news editor, technology, at the South China Morning Post. Previously, he was chief technology reporter covering the technology, media and telecommunications beats. He has worked at the Post since 2000. At different periods over the past decade, Bien also worked as technology editor at the weekly Post Magazine. He was also a frequent guest co-host in the old Tech Specs segment of Hong Kong broadcaster TVB’s Money Magazine show. He received runner-up honours for Best News Writing (English) in 2008 at the annual Hong Kong News Awards.
