Dr Richard WAN, Chief Operations Officer of Ka Shui Group in Hong Kong, is in charge of the company operations with various operations projects and helps upgrading Ka Shui Group to an Industry 4.0 smart factory. Dr WAN has profound experience in manufacturing, particularly the R&D and operation of machine automation, for over 30 years. He received his PhD at Huddersfield University in the United Kingdom with the research interest focused on modular cell controller design and flexible automation for batch manufacturing.
