The Internet has revolutionised our social and economic activities. Nowadays, competitiveness of an economy will depend on the capability to harness the potentials of the ever burgeoning internet economy.
The Internet Economy Summit explores directions and strategies for capturing opportunities offered by the Internet in propelling economic development. The Summit features various topics including impact of global innovation and technology development on business strategy, opportunities arising from big data and Internet of Things, insights into data-driven economic growth, etc. Through exchange among industry experts and business leaders from Mainland of China and across the world, the Summit facilitates better understanding of major development trends making use of the Internet.

Hong Kong serves as a “super-connector” linking the Mainland of China and the rest of the world, and is uniquely positioned to host the Internet Economy Summit as an annual international signature event.
